IMPORTANT
Limited Spots Available!
Doubles competitions are capped at 18 teams per division.
Singles competition is limited to 18 players.
Two-game guarantee—actual number of games will depend on the number of teams in each division.
TOURNAMENT RULES & FORMAT
Game Play
- Scoring: Games will be played to 11 points, win by 2.
- Serving:
- Restuarant side will serve first.
- Players must use an underhand serve.
- The serve must be diagonal and land in the opposite service court.
- The two-bounce rule applies (the ball must bounce once on each side before volleys are allowed).
- Non-Volley Zone (Kitchen):
- Players cannot volley the ball (hit it in the air) while standing in the non-volley zone.
- The ball must bounce before a player can hit it from within the kitchen.
- Switching Sides: Players will switch sides when one team reaches 6 points to account for any court advantages.
Tournament Format
- Round Robin Stage:
- Each team/player will compete in multiple matches within their division.
- Standings will be determined based on wins, point differential, and head-to-head results.
- Tie Breakers:
- First tie-breaker: head-to-head results among tied teams
- Second tie-breaker: Point differential of all games
- Third tie-breaker: Head-to-head point differential
- Fourth tie-breaker: Point differential against the next highest player/team
- Tie Breakers:
- Single Elimination Bracket:
- Seeding for the bracket will be based on Round Robin results.
- Single elimination matches will determine final standings.
- Winners advance; losing teams are eliminated.
Singles (Skinny/Mini-Singles Format)
- Mini-Singles is a modified singles format, where players only cover half the court on their side.
- Serves alternate between right and left service courts after each point.
Other Rules
- Timeouts: Each team is allowed one 60-second timeout per game.
- Faults:
- If the serve is out of bounds, it is a fault.
- Stepping into the non-volley zone while volleying results in a fault.
- Referees & Officiating: Games will be self-officiated unless a referee is assigned for playoffs.
Formats & Rules are subject to change based on the discretion of Chicken n’ Pickles’ professional staff.
PLAY ELIGIBILITY

All players must have ID on them at the sport facilities for roster checks. If a player does not have ID available, they will not be allowed to play.

Eligibility and IDs will be strictly enforced throughout the tournament.
